Safety Officer

Position Summary

As the Safety Officer, you are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving occupational health and safety programs within the plant. Your role ensures full compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry safety standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

What you'll do

Key responsibilities include: conducting safety inspections and audits, identifying workplace hazards, investigating incidents and near misses, facilitating safety training, and promoting a strong culture of safety awareness across the organization. You will work closely with different departments to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.

What you'll bring

Your strong passion to learn and accelerate your career, backed up with the following experience and knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related courses.
• Must possess a valid BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) Training Certificate.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Knowledgeable in Philippine safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Willing to be assigned in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
