Safety Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities:

Workplace Inspection and Monitoring

• Conduct daily walk-throughs and inspections of designated areas.
• Identify unsafe practices and environmental risks.
• Monitor worker compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct spot checks for work permits, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), confined space entry, and other safety requirements.
• Document and report near misses, hazards, and minor incidents.

Emergency Equipment and Preparedness

• Check and report the status of fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire hydrants, and other emergency equipment.
• Inspect emergency exits, first aid kits, and designated muster points.
• Support safety drills and ensure evacuation routes remain accessible at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Graduate of Industrial, Civil, or Mining Engineering.
2. Experience in workplace safety is an advantage, preferably in an industrial environment.
3. Preferably holds a Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification.
