As Safety, Health, and Environment Manager, you will build a strong safety culture by guiding programs, ensuring proper processes are followed, and aligning initiatives with company goals. This role helps keep employees safe, maintains a healthy workplace, and supports environmentally responsible and sustainable operations and contributes directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Safety, Health, and Environment team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead and manage the SHE team to ensure effective implementation of programs
- Develop and evaluate SHE initiatives and competency programs
- Enforce SHE policies and provide recommendations to management
- Establish programs aligned with regulations and organizational goals
- Provide guidance on SHE implementation and policy development
- Review and improve programs through audits and assessments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and submissions
- Represent the company to external stakeholders and stay updated on regulations
- Recommend corrective actions for safety, health, and environmental concerns
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Strong Leadership and Team Management Skills
- Deep Understanding of SHE Regulatory Compliance
- Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Robust Technical Expertise on SHE
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in related fields (Preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, and/or Sanitary Engineering and other engineering fields)
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment
- With experience as a project leader
- With at least 3 years of leadership experience
- Registered Engineer and/or with PRC license
- Must be able to attain Safety Officer & Pollution Control Officer accreditation within 1 year
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in SHE Auditing and Assessment Processes, SHE Regulatory Submission Systems, and Project Management Processes
- Strong skills in SHE Program Development, and SHE Policy Enforcement and Corrective Action
