As SHE BP Manager, you will lead the planning, development, and implementation of our health and safety programs and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Safety, Health, and Environment team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Act as the mandated Safety Officer for the company, ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and representing AboitizPower with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage BU-wide safety and emergency response training programs and initiatives.
• Lead regular and thorough safety audits of workplace structures, machinery, and work practices.
• Audit and maintain the readiness of emergency preparedness drills, fire detection systems, and site medical facilities.
• Ensure continuous compliance with environmental criteria and vital ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 55001, 50001, and 22301).
• Lead, train, and motivate a dedicated safety team, resolving work issues and conducting performance appraisals.

What You Will Need:

• Certifications: Must be a Registered Engineer and a DOLE-Accredited Safety Officer.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in a power plant or heavy industry, coupled with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Skills: A strong understanding of coal-fired power generation processes, comprehensive knowledge of safety, health, and fire codes, and expert hazard recognition.
