Job Description

  • Develop and implement site-wide safety policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and international standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented
  • Monitor and report safety performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Provide leadership and direction to safety officers and site teams
  • Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders on safety matters
  • Prepare and submit safety reports to management and regulatory bodies
  • Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization
