Safety Engineer

Aviation Partnership Philippines is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Engineer to join our Quality Management, System, and Security team.

This role will support the implementation of safety management initiatives through safety inspections, hazard identification, risk mitigation, compliance monitoring, and incident investigation—helping ensure a safe and compliant aviation environment.

Location: Pasay City, Philippines

Department: Quality Management, System, and Security

The responsibilities of the Safety Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct safety inspections of facilities, equipment, processes, and operations
• Identify potential hazards and escalate safety findings and concerns
• Support risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation measures
• Record inspection results and prepare accurate reports for management review
• Investigate and document safety incidents, findings, and corrective actions
• Monitor compliance with applicable safety, SMS, ISO, aviation, and regulatory standards
• Maintain proper safety documentation and records
• Collaborate with supervisors, departments, and operational teams to resolve safety issues
• Participate in corrective and preventive action initiatives
• Support the continuous improvement of safety programs and initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Aviation, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in safety engineering, safety inspection, or a related field
• Familiarity with safety inspection processes, SMS, and compliance standards
• Experience in safety documentation, reporting, and follow-up of safety findings
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Training in safety inspection techniques, SMS, ISO standards, or aviation compliance is an advantage
