Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor occupational safety and health (OSH) programs in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify safety hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), Fire Code, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Organize and facilitate safety orientations, toolbox meetings, emergency drills, and safety training programs.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and prepare incident reports with recommendations.
  • Monitor the availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and service providers regarding safety and facility compliance.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of company buildings, offices, warehouses, utilities, and equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs, renovations, housekeeping, pest control, waste management, and other facility-related services.
  • Monitor utility consumption and recommend cost-saving initiatives for facility operations.
  • Ensure all safety equipment, fire protection systems, emergency exits, and first aid facilities are functional and properly maintained.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, maintenance activities, permits, certifications, and compliance documents.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
  • Supervise contractors performing maintenance and repair work within company premises.
  • Perform other duties related to safety, facilities management, and administration as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or any related field.
  • Preferably with at least 23 years of experience in occupational safety, facilities management, building maintenance, or a related role.
  • Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), Fire Safety, and Facilities Management.
  • Experience in coordinating building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and contractor management is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to conduct site inspections and respond to emergencies when necessary.
