Safety & Compliance Manager

Job Description

• Stand up the department: compliance mapping, master permit calendar, and policy creation.
• Own end-to-end LGU, fire safety, sanitary, building, and occupancy permitting.
• Direct the corporate OSH program per RA 11058 and DOLE requirements.
• Oversee DENR environmental compliance (permits, PCO coverage, reports).
• Oversee energy compliance (RA 11285, DOE/ERC) and international ISO certifications.
• Establish facility quality assurance standards in coordination with Asset Management.
• Quantify risk exposure, drive corrective actions, and manage department budget.

Qualification

• sEducation: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Industrial, Sanitary, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil)
• .Licenses (but not required): DOLE SO3 minimum (SO4 preferred), DENR PCO preferred; ISO Lead Auditor/CEnCO an advantage
• .Experience: 8+ years in HSE/regulatory compliance, 3+ years multi-site managerial; hands-on government liaison experience
• .Technical Skills: Philippine OSH, environmental, energy, and building regulations; audit and incident investigation
• .Competencies: Integrity, regulatory fluency, audit-ready documentation, risk-based prioritization
