What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React, .NET technologies.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve processes, tools, and development practices within the team.
- Take ownership of features from concept to deployment, including testing, debugging, and support.
- Collaborate with team members across locations, contributing to a transparent and communicative remote culture.
Key Criteria
- 3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Solid hands-on experience with jQuery, AJAX, HTML & CSS.
- Basic understanding with .NET (C#) and Unit Testing Framework(xUnit,NUnit, MSTest) for backend service integration or legacy system support.
- Knowledge of Single Sign-On / Entra integration.
- Competence with REST APIs for various frontend and backend frameworks
- Working knowledge of Angular or React (at least one modern JS framework).
- Understanding of microservices architecture, and DevOps or CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization tools.
Work setup
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6 am3 pm PHT) with a hybrid set up of 2 days onsite and 3 days from home.
