Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical RTR (Record-to-Report) Accountant to join our Global Shared Services team. The role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background and experience working in a shared services or multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams for financial reporting requirements
- Maintain and improve RTR processes and internal controls
- Assist in implementing process improvements and automation initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license preferred but not required
- At least 2–4 years of experience in Record-to-Report, General Ledger, or similar accounting roles
- Experience in a shared services or multinational company is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with process migration or transitions in shared services
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to streamline processes
