Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of a sales merchandiser include but are not limited to the following:
Assigned Store Responsibilities
Ensures that shelves of assigned store are properly stocked and displayed
Handles the assigned store's inventory levels and creates inventory reports for the monitoring of the sales performances of products
Monitors sales, losses, stock wastage and damage
Marketing Responsibilities
Pushes products in-store to meet sales targets.
Participates in marketing events
Customer Feedback and Competitor Analysis Responsibilities
Reviews and reports customer feedback to supervisors in order to forecast sales trends and seasonal stock demand
Conducts competitor analysis which includes a review of pricing, profit, marketing and other progress.
