Route Planner

Role Description The Route Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Calauan, responsible for planning and optimizing delivery routes for BSFIL's products. This position involves analyzing orders, locations, and delivery schedules to create efficient routes that minimize travel time and transportation costs while meeting customer deadlines. The Route Planner coordinates daily with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to confirm loading plans, delivery priorities, and vehicle availability. The role includes monitoring route performance, adjusting plans for traffic or operational issues, and maintaining accurate records of routes, delivery times, and transport documentation. The Route Planner also supports continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares daily delivery route schedules and assign trucks according to volume and routes
• Coordinates with Costumer Service the status of deliveries on transit
• Coordinates with Purchasing and Brokers regarding shipments pick up and empty container returns and schedules accordingly
• Prepares and submit Daily Delivery schedule and route plan report
• Report potential issues and/or problems that may lead (but not limited to) distribution delays, safety issues, GMP issues. (Non-Compliance Report)
• Develop and implement improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP system (SAP, InforLN, etc)
• With leadership skills, problem solving and continuous improvement skills, Interpersonal and communication skills, Organizational and Administrative skills
• Familiar with knowledge in HACCP, GMP, OSH and ISO
• At least (2) years related work experience in Production Supervision and Production Management gained from manufacturing firms
• Graduate of Engineering, Sciences, or its equivalent
