Role: Loan Operations (Corporate and Private Banking Loans)
Job Purpose
- Support the Team Lead and Department Head in the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Review and verify work completed by team members to maintain operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Escalate any operational issues, discrepancies, or irregularities to the Team Lead or Department Head promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Operations (Corporate and Private Banking Loans)
- Process loan transactions including drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments for bilateral, syndicated, and private banking loans.
- Prepare loan advices and confirmations for private banking loans using the relevant loan confirmation systems.
- Handle outward remittance transactions related to syndicated and bilateral loans.
- Prepare and post accounting entries for fee amortization and fee recognition.
- Monitor overdue loan transactions and escalate unresolved items to the Team Lead or Department Head when necessary.
- Assist in reviewing and updating operational procedures, policies, and working manuals related to loan operations.
- Participate in loan-related projects, system enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management as required.
Core Competencies
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in loan operations or banking operations.
- Good understanding of Corporate Banking Loan or / and Private Banking loan products and structures.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) requirements.
- Awareness of operational risk management principles and controls.
- Familiarity with operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
