Role 2: Oracle SOA / BPEL / BPM / ADF Custom Application Support Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SOA / Custom Application Support Consultant to troubleshoot and support existing custom applications and integrations built using Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c, including SOA, BPEL, BPM, and/or ADF.

This is primarily a production application support role, rather than a new development or implementation position. You will work with the support team to diagnose and resolve complex application, workflow, integration, service, and database-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for custom applications and integrations built on Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c.
• Troubleshoot failed or stalled SOA/BPEL/BPM processes.
• Analyze application logs and process instance details to identify root causes.
• Review existing code and configurations for troubleshooting purposes.
• Diagnose integration, workflow, service, and database-related issues.
• Troubleshoot SOA composites and BPEL/BPM processes.
• Support and troubleshoot web services and adapters.
• Perform ADF application diagnostics, where applicable.
• Use SQL/PLSQL to investigate application and database-related issues.
• Recommend or assist with corrective actions and service restoration.
• Support legacy custom applications where documentation may be limited.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c.
• Experience supporting SOA, BPEL, BPM, and/or ADF applications.
• Strong production application support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience troubleshooting SOA composites and process instances.
• Knowledge of web services and adapters.
• Working knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support legacy custom applications.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server is preferred.

• BIR Form 2303 / Certificate of Registration
• Registered as a Sole Proprietor or Self-Employed Professional
• Able to issue a Service Invoice/Receipt
• Contractor manages their own taxes and government contributions
• No HMO or regular employee benefits
