Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration.
Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude.
Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve service reliability.
Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow (SNOW).
Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents (P1/P2).
Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in network engineering and WAN optimization.
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking concepts.
Experience supporting production network environments and handling critical incidents.
Must have: Riverbed Steelhead, RiOS, Riverbed WAN Optimizer (RS WAN Optimizer),
Cisco routing and switching, Network monitoring and troubleshooting
Good to have: SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, The Dude and ServiceNow (SNOW)
