About The Role
The
Risk Policy Analyst will w ork collaboratively within the Risk Management Team to deliver data and analytics that guide risk appetite decisions for the product.
What You'll Do
- Risk appetite analytics: Provide data and insights to support risk appetite setting.
- Portfolio management: Partner with Business and Credit Operations to achieve plan targets and ensure product sustainability.
- Policy implementation: Collaborate with Credit Operations and Business teams to ensure policies are correctly implemented and applied operationally.
- Monitoring and adjustment: Deliver portfolio and segment-level analytics to monitor performance and adjust policies for optimal risk/reward balance.
- Risk reporting: Support Risk Reporting teams with data for Credit Risk and Portfolio Quality Review reports, plus ad hoc reporting.
- Compliance and ethics: Assess risks in business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and escalate issues transparently.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in credit risk or portfolio analysis; preferably in banking/financial services
Required Skills
- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Communication skills: Clear oral, written, and presentation abilities.
- Data management: Strong capability in handling and organizing data.
- Programming knowledge: Basic proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar languages.
- Microsoft tools: Skilled in Excel and other MS applications.
- Team collaboration: Comfortable working across groups and functions.
