Risk Officer-Environment and Social Risk

Job Description

• Assist in managing the design and guidelines relevant to credit risk in relation to sustainability finance and E&S requirements

• Help monitor the effectiveness of E&S risk management system implementation relevant to credit risk (such as policies, process, and procedures) and updating in line with changes in laws, regulations, and corporate directives.

• Support the bank in ensuring that lending policies, E&S risk appraisal tools, and appropriate monitoring and reporting frameworks are aligned with the bank’s ESRMS

• Assist the Team Head and Unit Head in special projects as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or other related fields
• Minimum of three years’ experience in risk, corporate sustainability, sustainable finance, or related areas, preferably in banks
• Knowledge of local and international E&S regulations, industry best practices, and frameworks
• Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks
• Ability to analyze and understand emerging sustainability related research; distill and apply information to local setting
• Mastery of Bank policies and procedures related to Sustainability and E&S Risk Management
• Can interface with all levels in the organization as well as with the Bank’s clients
• Above average Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Powerpoint) proficiency level
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
