Job Summary
- Supports the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in implementing the RCBC Trust Corporation's risk management framework through day-to-day risk monitoring, analysis, policy implementation, data validation, and reporting across market, liquidity, operational, legal, regulatory, and fiduciary risks.
How will you contribute
- Conducts daily/periodic monitoring of exposures, risk limits, regulatory limits, and KRIs.
- Validates accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of risk data and reports.
- Prepares daily/weekly/monthly risk dashboards for review by CRO and relevant committees
- Implements ORM tools such as:
- Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
- Key Risk Indicators (KRI),
- Incident and Loss Data Reporting
- Assists in root cause analysis of operational incidents and regulatory exceptions.
- Evaluates process gaps and recommends corrective actions to enhance internal controls.
- Assists in stress testing, back-testing, scenario analysis, and behavioral assumptions.
- Recommends changes to valuation methodologies, risk limits, and monitoring metrics.
- Reviews existing products/services to identify emerging or persistent risk trends.
- Prepares materials for ROC and Board-level reporting.
- Tracks BSP circulars and helps implement compliance measures.
- Supports CRO during BSP examinations and audits.
- Reviews new product proposals and operational process changes for risk impact.
- Evaluates adequacy of control mechanisms and policy compliance.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or related fields; Trust Certificate or willingness to pursue is an advantage; AML/KYC training is an advantage
- Preferably with Trust and Investments background; knowledge of various investment markets and products.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in risk management, trust/investments, treasury, audit, or related field.
- Experience with market, liquidity or operational risk tools preferred
