About the Job

Drive risk and compliance oversight for the local entity to align operations with regulatory rules, internal guidelines, and group standards.
Maintain and enhance governance, risk, financial crime, compliance, and data privacy frameworks alongside their supporting controls.
Take on the responsibilities of the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to supervise AML/CFT operations and obligations throughout the contract.
Manage routine communications, filings, and inquiries with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regulatory bodies.
Track regulatory changes, evaluate their impact on local business operations, and offer actionable guidance.
Ensure all compliance submissions and regulatory reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
Provide second-line review, constructive challenge, and advice on commercial activities, projects, and new initiatives.
Oversee third-party outsourcing relationships to ensure compliance with supervisory and group standards.
Support compliance investigations, incident management, customer complaints, and issue resolution with proper escalation.
Facilitate the ongoing operation and execution of risk management processes.
Compile management information reports and risk updates for executive leadership and governance committees.
Collaborate with the Principal Officer, regional risk and compliance teams, and global stakeholders for a unified risk management approach.

Skills and Requirements

Strong background in compliance, risk oversight, and AML/CFT operations within financial services.
Sound knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements, statutory reporting, and local governance expectations.
Experience executing second-line review and managing risk frameworks and outsourcing arrangements.
Proven ability to liaise directly with regulatory authorities and manage official submissions.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills to provide practical advice across business units.
