Job Description

We're looking for an experienced HR Risk and Compliance Manager to ensure that we continuously improve all our HR policies, processes, and employee-relations practices to strictly comply with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Labor Code of the Philippines, and all other employment-related laws.

You'll serve as our key advisor on labor law matters and lead internal audits, DOLE inspections, and HR policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines, DOLE Department Orders, and other statutory regulations (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Conduct regular HR compliance audits covering payroll, timekeeping, and employee documentation.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory DOLE reports, such as the Annual Establishment Report, and OSH compliance requirements.
  • Manage DOLE inspections and audits, ensuring zero violations and prompt corrective action.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies that reflect current labor laws and best practices.
  • Oversee disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations in full compliance with due process and Philippine jurisprudence.
  • Partner with management to identify and mitigate HR-related risks and craft proactive compliance strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions on labor compliance, occupational safety, anti-sexual harassment, and the Data Privacy Act.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Legal Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Background in law or professional with advanced knowledge of Philippine labor law.
  • Experience: Minimum of 58 years in HR, with at least 3 years specializing in compliance, labor relations, or HR audit.
  • Proven familiarity with DOLE procedures, labor relations, and employee discipline frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience managing DOLE audits, NLRC cases, and government reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and leadership in promoting a culture of compliance.
