As ROW GIS Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day execution of geospatial and land acquisition support activities for the Stakeholder Relations, Right-of-Way, Legal and Compliance (SRRLC) and Project Development (PD). The Supervisor ensures that GIS Specialists and support staff deliver accurate, timely, and reliable spatial data, maps, and documentation required for the identification, acquisition, and management of project sites, transmission line routes, and road rights of way.

The role acts as a bridge between the technical specialists and the Manager, ensuring work quality, coordinating with stakeholders, and addressing operational issues to keep project deliverables on track. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Stakeholder Relations, Right-Of-Way, Legal and Compliance (SRRLC) and Project Development (PD) to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead, assign, and monitor the daily tasks of GIS Specialists and support staff.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of spatial datasets, thematic maps, and project documentation.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and quality checks on mapping outputs and land-related research.
  • Review and validate GIS analyses, cadastral/parcellary maps, and environmental overlays prepared by Specialists.
  • Ensure integration of field-verified GPS data and survey results into official project datasets.
  • Support the preparation of maps and visuals for land acquisition, permitting, legal review, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Coordinate the collection, verification, and organization of land documents, permits, and clearances.
  • Support due diligence and land validation processes by supervising Specialists in data gathering, document control, and mapping.
  • Assist in stakeholder coordination with LGUs, national government agencies (DAR, DENR, ROD, etc.), and communities on land-related matters.
  • Serve as point-of-contact between GIS Specialists and the Manager for project updates, risks, and bottlenecks.
  • Provide regular progress reports and flag urgent issues for escalation.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive land and project data.
  • Provide orientation and mentoring to GIS Specialists and support staff.
  • Participate in project meetings, internal reviews, and technical discussions to provide operational updates.
  • Uphold company values of transparency, integrity, and professionalism when dealing with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Engineering, Permitting, Regulatory) to align GIS and land documentation outputs with project requirements.
  • Maintain version control and database integrity for all spatial and land acquisition datasets.
  • Recommend improvements to workflows, tools, and methods for GIS and land documentation support.
  • Keep updated on emerging GIS practices and land acquisition regulations relevant to projects.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Geography, Geomatics, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of combined experience in GIS, land acquisition, or permitting-related roles.

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Proficient in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), AutoCAD, GPS tools, Google Earth, and remote sensing.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage several tasks simultaneously.
