Riggers Engineer (Telecom)
Job Summary
The Riggers Engineer is responsible for leading and supervising a team of telecom riggers during the installation, integration, and commissioning of telecom and radio equipment. The role ensures all field activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client standards, while overseeing site operations, quality of work, and project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise riggers during tower climbing, rigging, telecom, and radio equipment installation activities.
- Oversee the installation, deinstallation, activation, and commissioning of telecom equipment to ensure quality workmanship.
- Ensure all team members comply with Working at Height (WAH), safety protocols, and daily REHS requirements.
- Conduct telecom site surveys and prepare technical reports when required.
- Coordinate equipment integration, testing, configuration, and client acceptance activities.
- Monitor daily site progress and provide updates to internal and client project managers.
- Manage team resources, including tools, PPE, transportation, and accommodation.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities and compliance with project requirements.
- Support client training activities and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or a related engineering discipline.
- Preferably licensed, but not required.
- Experience in telecom tower installation, radio equipment installation, commissioning, and integration.
- Experience supervising field technicians or riggers is an advantage.
- Valid Working at Height (WAH) Certificate is required.
- Valid First Aid Certificate is required.
- Knowledge of telecom site safety standards and field operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work on project sites in Mindanao.
- Local residents of Mindanao are highly preferred.

- Project Location: Cotabato (initial deployment)
- Project Duration: Until November (extendable based on project requirements)
- Team Structure: 1 Engineer leading 3 Riggers
- Client Support: Training will be provided to successful candidates.
- Resources Provided: Team vehicle, accommodation, transportation, and necessary project support.
