Job Description

The Rewards and Performance Manager is responsible for managing the company's total rewards programs in partnership with the HR & Admin Head. Key responsibilities include overseeing compensation structures, salary benchmarking, annual review cycles, and job evaluations. The role also covers the design and administration of employee benefits, including wellness initiatives, as well as managing payroll accuracy and compliance. This position ensures data integrity in HR systems, supports automation efforts, and leads a small team handling compensation and benefits operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation

  • Manage the company's compensation framework, including salary structures, job grades, and pay scales.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking, market surveys, and internal equity analyses to ensure competitiveness.
  • Lead annual salary review cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.
  • Oversee job evaluation and classification processes, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Preparation and monitoring of budget items related to salaries & wages and HR.

Benefits

  • Manage comprehensive employee benefits programs (HMO, insurance, leaves, retirement plans, etc.)
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to negotiate cost-effective and competitive benefit plans.
  • Oversee the administration of all benefits programs.
  • Ensure timely enrollment, renewals, and communication of benefits offerings.
  • Monitor benefit utilization and conduct regular cost-benefit analysis.

Payroll Management

  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries and other employee payments.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and organizational policies related to payroll.

Records Management

  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and organizational policies related to employee data.
  • Maintain accurate compensation and benefits data in the HRIS.
  • Support automation and digitalization initiatives related to C&B processes.
  • Custodian of 201 Files.

People Management

  • Lead and develop a small team handling payroll and benefits administration.
  • Provide guidance to HRBP and line managers on compensation decisions and employee movement cases.

Role Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. At least 7 years of progressive HR experience with 3+ years in a Compensation and Benefits managerial role.
  3. Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax rules, and statutory benefits.
  4. Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strong analytical acumen with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  7. Knowledge of compensation strategy, market benchmarking, and benefits design.
  8. Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and salary structures.
  9. Familiarity with compensation tools, systems, and HRIS platforms.
  10. High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
