Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- CA, CPA, or equivalent international professional accounting qualification
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in billing, revenue control, accounts receivable, collections, e-billing, or finance operations
- Relevant billing, revenue, or finance operations experience within a law firm or legal services environment
- At least 2-3 years of people leadership experience, including team management, coaching, mentoring, and performance development
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing and revenue cycles, financial controls, collections, and revenue management processes
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage workloads, strengthen operational processes, and drive service excellence
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across functions and international teams
- Experience supporting UK-based or other international stakeholders is highly desirable
- Experience building or scaling teams within shared services, finance operations, legal, or professional services environments is an advantage
- Proficiency in financial, billing, or revenue management systems; experience with Aderant is preferred, with Elite, 3E, SAP, or comparable platforms also advantageous
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily team operations across e-billing, billing, collections, reporting, vendor forms, and matter management while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Manila Revenue Control team to build capability and drive high performance.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing, e-billing, collections, and revenue-related issues.
- Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle while maintaining strong financial controls, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Head of Revenue Control and global stakeholders to monitor team performance and operational outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and optimize scalable revenue control processes to support business growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across revenue operations and business processes.
- Establish best practices and standardized procedures to strengthen the Manila Revenue Control function.
- Support training, knowledge transfer, and cross-functional capability development within the Revenue Control team.
- Prepare and maintain accurate revenue reports to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with partners, fee earners, finance teams, and international stakeholders to deliver high-quality revenue support.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies, financial controls, regulatory requirements, and revenue management standards.
