About the Opportunity
The Lind Hotels is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Auditor to join our team for the pre-opening of our resort property in Coron, Palawan.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing daily revenue auditing, reconciling all property income streams, and enforcing internal financial control procedures. We are seeking candidates with proven hotel finance background, hands-on experience in Opera PMS and Symphony POS, and strong reconciliation expertise.
- Location / Work Setup: On-site Resort Assignment (Coron, Palawan).
- Start Date / Relocation: Immediate availability required / Fully willing to relocate to Coron, Palawan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily audit of all hotel revenues, ensuring accurate recording, proper revenue journal entry, and timely reporting of any financial discrepancies.
- Performs daily reconciliations of total outlet sales, guest folios, accounts receivable movements, and cash collections against General Cashier deposits.
- Audits and cross-checks transactions in Opera PMS and Simphony POS to maintain data integrity across Front Office and Food & Beverage outlets.
- Monitors food and beverage sales controls, validating voided checks, rebates, paid-outs, and corrections for proper management approval and supporting documentation.
- Reviews and audits banquet event orders, buffet controls, advance deposits, gift certificates, and promotional vouchers against daily financial records.
- Generates and distributes the Daily Revenue Report to the Finance Manager, General Manager, and Department Heads in a timely manner.
- Audits docket sequencing and control across all operating outlets to prevent revenue loss, unauthorized re-use, or unrecorded transactions.
- Partners with the General Cashier to conduct routine float audits, register checks, and cash-handling verifications across all resort points of sale.
- Ensures full compliance with internal finance policies, standard operating procedures, and audit guidelines during the resort's pre-opening setup.
- Supports the Finance Manager with monthly financial closing, internal control reviews, and special analytical projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Income Auditing, Night Auditing, or Revenue Reconciliation within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort environment.
- Hands-on operational experience with Opera PMS and Simphony POS is strictly required, alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and hotel accounting systems.
- Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related business fields. Strong knowledge of hotel internal controls and record-keeping.
- High degree of accuracy, detail-oriented mindset, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with outlet managers and executive leadership.
- Must be able to start immediately and fully willing to relocate on-site to Coron, Palawan (candidates based in or familiar with Palawan are welcome and encouraged to apply).
