Revenue Operations Analyst (Strategic Analyst)
The Revenue Operations Analyst (Strategic Analyst) will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving business dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks to support data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong analytical expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and revenue/operational data, combined with the ability to analyze large datasets and produce clear, actionable insights.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing full reporting and analysis lifecycles—from data extraction and transformation to dashboard design, forecasting, automation, and delivery of strategic insights that support revenue growth and operational performance.
This is a night shift, full-time, and work-from-home position.
Key Responsibilities
- Update, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and revenue reporting assets.
- Conduct data analysis to support revenue performance tracking, forecasting, pipeline analysis, and operational decision-making.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports based on business and leadership needs.
- Manage end-to-end report development, including data sourcing, cleansing, modeling, and visualization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI and analytical solutions.
- Analyze revenue trends, pipeline performance, conversion rates, and other key business metrics to identify opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot inconsistencies across systems and reports.
- Work with CRM, ERP, and BI platforms to extract and structure datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Automate manual reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor data refreshes, dashboard performance, and report integrity.
- Deliver insights and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner, supporting stakeholders with interpretation and strategic decision-making as needed.
- Support forecasting, planning, and performance reviews by providing accurate data and meaningful analysis.
- Maintain documentation for datasets, reporting structures, measures, dashboards, and key revenue metrics.
- Stay current on Power BI features, revenue operations best practices, data analytics methodologies, and BI tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, BI reporting, data analysis, financial/operational analytics, sales operations, or a similar function.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, and dashboard design.
- Experience analyzing revenue, sales, pipeline, forecasting, or operational performance data.
- Nice to have: Experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience handling large datasets.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful visualizations, business insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand how operational and commercial metrics impact overall revenue performance.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
