Implement standardized guidelines & procedures that will track and monitor adherence and performance
Training frontline staff in Best-in-Class Retail
Provide direction and coaching to retail staff, supporting the achievement of revenue targets
Support country sales & marketing campaigns at Retail point-of-sale
Ensure effective implementation and running of outlet Catchment Area Marketing Programs to achieve maximum target segment penetration and revenue performance
Maintain awareness of competitor activity and recommend tactics to counter any emerging threats by competitors on both an Area and Local level.
To source the most cost-efficient local contractors and suppliers for the proper maintenance of store operations and maintain quality of retail experience
Management of outsourced suppliers and outsourced staff to ensure effective running and staffing of Retail outlets
Liaise with country to coordinate and support outlet development and management
Obtain all necessary information to prepare store scorecard and standardized outlet management process.
Carry out any task that is required by his or her superiors from time to time.
Liaise closely with Operations to ensure pick-up times are met, and all supplies are delivered on time
Liaise with customer service to resolve any customer issues that may arise.
Prepare cash reconciliations and ensure proper petty cash maintenance
Work closely with Sales Training Manager for the training of all frontline staff
Minimum Qualifications
Highly developed experience in the field of retail sales with demonstrated understanding of and exposure to all elements of the retail trade and outlet management
Team-player and proven leadership and influencing skills
High levels of patience
Perseverance to bring issues to logical conclusion
Sales orientation
Strong English (written and spoken) comprehension and communication skills are essential.
A minimum of 4 years experience in the field of retail sales and area marketing
Experience in sales/sales processes
Knowledge and understanding of the retail trade from a service and sales perspective.
Experience in leading a frontline team is preferred
Tertiary level in related fields (e.g. Degree in Business / Marketing)
