Job Summary:
Develops and manages distributor and sub-dealer networks within an assigned territory, driving sales growth through account management, field execution, market analysis, and distributor support while ensuring the effective implementation of sales strategies and programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Related work experience in sales, preferably in the motorcycle battery, spare parts, accessories, or automotive industry.
- Willing to travel extensively and conduct regular fieldwork.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to assess market trends and competitor activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and implement sales and marketing policies to distributors and sub-dealers.
- Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, promotions, and product offerings, and provide timely market intelligence and recommendations.
- Conduct regular field visits and missionary selling activities to strengthen distributor coverage and drive sales growth.
- Evaluate prospective distributors through credit checks and creditworthiness assessments.
- Maintain accurate and updated distributor records, including business, financial, and contact information.
- Address distributor concerns, requests, and operational requirements in a timely manner.
- Identify business opportunities and potential risks within assigned territories and recommend appropriate actions.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, market feedback, and territory updates to management.
- Ensure effective execution of sales programs and recommend improvements based on field insights and market conditions.
