Job Description

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Officer, your primary responsibility is to drive the growth of retail trust accounts by collaborating with Retail Non-Wealth/BBG and Wealth segments. This includes actively soliciting, acquiring, and onboarding UITFs, DIMA, PMT, and escrow accounts, as well as managing daily DIMA transactions in coordination with the DIMA Account Servicing Team within his/her assigned areas.

The role also involves planning and organizing marketing events and programs tailored to the investment needs of clients and partners in his/her assigned areas. These initiatives aim to achieve high conversion rates, acquiring not only new-to-TAMG accounts but also new-to-bank relationships.

Additionally, the position is responsible for delivering comprehensive investment and trust solutions aligned with the financial objectives of Retail and Wealth clients. It requires building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business development, enhance client experience, and contribute to the overall profitability and strategic goals of the trust business.

How you'll contribute

  • Provides proactive support to his/her partner/supervisor in achieving team objectives by assisting in planning, coordinating, and executing strategies. This includes monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and contributing ideas to ensure the successful attainment of goals and overall team performance.
  • Supports his/her partner/supervisor in achieving their team goals.
  • Actively solicits, acquires and onboards new retail and wealth accounts.
  • Strengthens and nurtures relationships with existing TAMG clients by proactively offering additional investment and trust solutions, aiming to maximize business opportunities from big-ticket high net worth accounts.
  • Maintains and strengthens relationships with internal clients (SBC client segments) to generate more referrals which is mutually beneficial. Cross sells other SBC products to existing TAMG clients to generate more business for the bank.
  • Performs KYC, Customer Due Diligence (Enhanced Due Diligence when necessary) using the Bank's Customer Due Diligence Tools, validates the truthfulness of the information and authenticity of the documents presented by the customer.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years in banking, finance, investments / treasury, or related fields.
  • With Bachelor's degree and preferably with one year course on Trust Operations and investment Management and Certified UITF Sales Personnel
  • Has a strong understanding and knowledge Financial Markets / Investments
  • Knowledge of all Trust products that cater to the retail segment and basic knowledge of all other Trust Products
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Marketing Adeptness
  • Proficiency in MS Office
