Job Summary
A Senior Sales Associate is responsible for cash, credit, and e-wallet sales, including banking transactions. The role ensures compliance with cashiering processes, reports sales discrepancies, and manages store operations reports, inventory, and defective store equipment reporting.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Enhance sales through effective and creative use of salesmanship techniques
- Handle cash, credit, and e-wallet sales in the store and immediately report sales discrepancies to the Store Head (SH)
- Ensure compliance with cashiering processes and procedures
- Conduct banking transactions such as credit card verification and cash deposits in the absence of a Store Head
- Submit daily store operations reports (sales, inventory, and other qualitative reports) as needed
- Conduct store inventory and provide reports to ensure stock levels are maintained on a weekly basis
- Perform periodic store inventory counts with accurate and timely reporting of inventory variances and losses, including proper resolution of issues and concerns
- Implement daily compliance with the Nimbly checklist in the store
- Report immediately on store equipment needing attention, including defective lights, air conditioning, store signage, internet and electric connectivity issues, CCTV, and other fixtures
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Graduate of any 4-year business-related course
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the same capacity, preferably in the retail industry
- Certifications or Licenses: Not required
