We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail / Restaurant Revit Production Architect to support the development and delivery of architectural construction documents for retail and restaurant projects. The ideal candidate has strong Revit production experience, a thorough understanding of construction documentation, and the ability to adapt prototype designs to site-specific conditions while maintaining client standards and design intent.
This role requires excellent technical expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, produce, and maintain architectural construction documents using Revit.
- Adapt prototype retail and restaurant designs to unique site conditions, local building codes, zoning requirements, and project-specific constraints.
- Prepare accurate and complete permit, bid, and construction drawing sets.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, and other consultant disciplines.
- Review site surveys, jurisdictional requirements, and project information to incorporate necessary modifications into prototype plans.
- Ensure all project documentation aligns with client standards, brand requirements, quality expectations, and project schedules.
- Identify and resolve drawing conflicts, coordination issues, and constructability concerns.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support permit responses, drawing revisions, and construction administration tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural production and construction documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards, construction documentation, and building systems.
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and permitting processes.
- Experience adapting prototype designs to site-specific conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on retail, restaurant, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or commercial projects.
- Experience coordinating with structural, MEP, and civil consultants.
- Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other architectural production software.
- Experience supporting national prototype or multi-site rollout programs.
