  • Strategic Planning & Business Delivery
  • Set and deliver key sales, distribution, and operational objectives across monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
  • Develop channel growth plans using insights, market dynamics, and available tools to drive physical and mental availability.
  • Establish robust systems, processes, and Ways of Working to strengthen the Modern Trade sales engine across regions.
  • Influence crossfunctional stakeholders (Sales Operations, Category teams, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Development) to align on mid to longterm growth priorities.
  • Collaborate with regional retail chains to cocreate category plans, portfolio strategies, and execution roadmaps.
  • Channel Execution & InStore Excellence
  • Lead nationwide deployment of business plans, promotions, and belowtheline activations.
  • Drive supervisors, merchandisers, and frontline teams to consistently deliver the Picture of Success across Modern Grocery, Convenience, Drugstore, and other relevant formats.
  • Ensure excellence in visibility, compliance, and product placement across multiple categories and store types.
  • Implement datadriven insights to enhance execution quality and improve returns on trade and shopper investments.
  • Key Account Management (Regional Chains)
  • Manage regional retail accounts and build collaborative customer partnerships.
  • Engage customer category teams for joint business planning, promotion design, visibility programs, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal category and customer development teams to activate regionspecific initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and opportunities that drive category performance and market share.
  • People Leadership
  • Lead and motivate a distributed team of supervisors, field staff, merchandisers, and promoters.
  • Coach teams on sales fundamentals, productivity tools, and routetomarket systems.
  • Implement structured training programs to continuously develop field capabilities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop field operations personnel within agreed timelines.
  • Champion adoption of digital SFA tools to strengthen visibility, reporting, and execution.
  • Operational & Administrative Management
  • Conduct periodic business reviews across regions to track progress and resolve gaps.
  • Oversee timely submissions of claims, expenses, reconciliations, and administrative compliance.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy and ensure high service levels.
  • Travel extensively (10-12 days per period) to supervise regional execution.
  • Minimum 8 years of Modern Trade experience, including operations management in FMCG/CPG/retail environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large field teams.
  • Background in Channel Management, Direct Sales, RoutetoMarket development, Business Development, or coldchain exposure (preferred).
  • Experience collaborating with multifunctional teams (Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain).
  • Meaningful Leadership Exposure - Work closely with crossfunctional and regional leaders, influencing key business decisions and shaping commercial strategy.
