The Retail Operations Excellence Associate will be the core enabler of Lazada Philippines Retail team by building structured operations, facilitating back-office governance, and strengthening local usage of the end-to-end retail supply chain management platform. Guided by the motto of Support, Anticipate, and Control, this role is central to ensuring that operational excellence, profitability control, and process compliance come together to drive business resilience.
Furthermore, you will also collaborate with Regional Retail Ops Excellence in aligning local operational frameworks with regional standards, rolling out system enhancements, and contributing to the development of best practices and SOPs across markets.

Key Responsibilities
You will focus on six Key Pillars:
You will act as the primary point of contact for the Lazada Philippines Retail team in utilizing the internal supply chain and back margin management systems. By guiding Retail Buyers in using these tools effectively, you will help reduce billing discrepancies, ensure timely back margin submissions, and streamline contract encoding.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing SOPs that govern PH Retail's operational workflows. Your mission is to ensure that all processes are well-documented, accessible, and audit-ready to reduce risk of errors and support consistent execution across teams. Your contributions will directly improve the transparency and compliance of our operating procedures.
You will monitor profitability through back margin submission tracking within the Retail P&L dashboard, ensuring alignment with financial P&L targets such as Gross Margins and Profit Contributions. Collaborating with Finance and Retail Business Strategy & Planning teams, you will interpret data, flag discrepancies, and propose corrective actions to ensure accurate contribution margin reporting and strategic alignment with commercial priorities.
You will co-lead the orchestration of back office tasks to keep operational workflows smooth and responsive. This includes managing key routine checks such as the billing sharing sessions and back margin submission panels to ensure fast request turnaround and strong alignment between internal teams. Your work will play a central role in accelerating issue resolution and reducing backlog.
You will identify operational vulnerabilities and proactively implement control measures that prevent SOP violations.
You will contribute to cross-functional projects that drive measurable value.
