What You'll Be Doing
You will own and deliver retail revenue, profitability and partner performance within a core market. This role sets and drives the local retail strategy, ensuring sustainable growth through strong customer management, disciplined investment and excellent in‑store execution. You will take accountability for commercial outcomes, lead planning across key partners and translate strategy into clear, actionable plans. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will guide the team to respond quickly to performance trends, optimize results and build a strong, commercially focused team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and strengthening strategic relationships with key retail partners such as Watsons, Superdrug and other priority accounts
- Leading joint business planning, commercial negotiations and regular performance reviews with retail partners
- Driving distribution, ranging, space and shelf optimization across core accounts
- Partnering with global teams to plan and execute retail trade investment, ensuring spend is optimised and ROI‑focused
- Defining and activating retail media strategies that support promotions, launches and long‑term growth
- Delivering strong in‑store execution across planograms, visual merchandising standards and new product launches
- Identifying opportunities for retail expansion, new partnerships and channel growth
- Scaling successful pilots into full market rollouts
- Leading, coaching and developing a high‑performing retail team with clear priorities and accountability
What We're Looking For
- 8-12+ years proven experience in retail, FMCG, beauty or consumer goods within multi‑channel environments
- Strong background in owning and delivering revenue, profitability and growth across key retail accounts (e.g. drugstore, pharmacy, specialty retail)
- Experience in key account management, joint business planning and commercial negotiations
- A strategic mindset with the ability to turn plans into practical, executable actions
- Strong analytical capability and confidence using data and insight to drive decisions
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, supply chain and finance teams
- A collaborative, influential approach with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high‑performing teams
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, performance‑driven and evolving environments
