About the Role

This is a hybrid role with exposure to both ultra-high net worth (UHNI) retail clients and institutional trading, offering you the opportunity to sharpen your execution skills, deepen client relationships, and grow professionally within the Maybank ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute equity trades for ultra-high net worth clients on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) with accuracy and speed.
  • Provide daily coverage and engagement to UHNI clients via calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
  • Promote investment opportunities through research and economic insights from Maybank Investment Banking Group (MIBG) and Maybank Securities Philippines (MSPH).
  • Offer margin products and other value-added services to qualified UHNI clients.
  • Assist clients in the account opening process and address trading-related inquiries and post-trade concerns.
  • Support client servicing through selective digital marketing via WhatsApp/Viber retail group chats.
  • Collaborate with internal teamsincluding compliance, risk, operationsand other Maybank Group entities for client events, roadshows, and learning sessions.
  • Meet monthly and year-end revenue and performance targets.
  • Provide backup support to the Institutional Equities Dealing Team, when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Preferably 12 years of experience in equities sales, trading, or brokerage.
  • PSE/SEC-related licenses are an advantage
  • Open to highly motivated fresh graduates with strong market interest and potential.

Technical and Soft Skills

  • Strong understanding of equity markets, with working knowledge of both retail brokerage operations and institutional trade execution.
  • Ability to support clients through broker-assisted channels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools (e.g., Viber, WhatsApp), used for client servicing and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, especially with high-net-worth clients and internal teams.
  • Sales-driven, resourceful, and results-oriented; able to meet revenue, volume, and performance targets.
  • Highly organized, professional, and attentive to detailparticularly in trade execution and compliance.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in both fast-paced team environments and independently when needed.
