Job Purpose
The Retail Delivery Manager leads and oversees end-to-end tenant delivery across assigned assets, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant turnover of retail spaces. The role drives operational efficiency and technical excellence by managing design reviews, fit-out schedules, construction activities, and cross-functional coordination among Leasing, Design, Operations, Engineering, consultants, and tenants. It supervises and mentors delivery teams across clusters, ensuring consistent implementation of standards, procedures, and reporting practices. The position also resolves escalated technical and project issues, monitors site progress and safety compliance, and supports strategic planning for budgets, manpower, and performance to achieve successful project outcomes.
Scope of Job
- Lead and oversee end-to-end tenant delivery across assigned assets, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant turnover of retail spaces.
- Drive operational efficiency and technical excellence by managing design reviews, fit-out schedules, construction activities, and reporting processes.
- Supervise and mentor RDD teams across clusters, ensuring alignment with business goals and consistent implementation of standards and procedures.
- Serve as the primary coordination lead among internal departments, consultants, and tenants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor site progress, resolve escalated technical and construction issues, and support planning for budgets, manpower, and performance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical field; postgraduate or management certification is an advantage.
- At least 78 years of experience in retail construction, fit-out management, or project delivery, with 45 years in a managerial or multi-asset supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, team development, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
- Extensive knowledge of retail design, construction, delivery processes, and risk management, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp (Revit is an advantage), with working knowledge of design and documentation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.
