The Dining Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the dining area to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. They supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and support the management team in maintaining an efficient and welcoming dining environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of servers, bussers, and other dining room staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service is consistently provided.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of dining areas according to health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and assisting with ordering.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth food service operations.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and standards for efficient dining service.
- Assist in setting up for special events or functions as needed.
- Perform opening and closing duties including shift reports and cash handling if required.
- College or High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or management training is a plus.
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant supervision.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
