ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operational performance of a group of restaurants within an assigned territory. This role ensures consistent execution of operational standards, achievement of sales and profitability targets, strong people leadership, and delivery of exceptional guest experiences. The Operations Director serves as a key link between strategy and store execution, driving operational excellence at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

A. Operational Excellence

  • Lead day-to-day operations across assigned restaurants to ensure consistent execution of brand and operational standards
  • Monitor and improve performance in quality, service, cleanliness, and speed
  • Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures, food safety, and brand guidelines

B. Guest Experience & Brand Standards

  • Monitor guest experience scores and store ratings, implementing action plans to address gaps
  • Coach store leaders on hospitality standards, guest engagement, and service recovery

C. People Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers and Store Leaders
  • Conduct performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership capability development
  • Strengthen the leadership pipeline and ensure staffing readiness across the territory

D. Systems, Reporting & Data-Driven Decisions

  • Ensure effective use of restaurant management systems (RMS) and POS across all locations
  • Review operational dashboards, forecasts, and performance reports
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data insights and analytics

E. Business & Financial Performance

  • Support budget development and cost management initiatives
  • Improve productivity, food cost efficiency, and labor planning
  • Lead initiatives that enhance profitability and overall operational results

F. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Training, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and HR teams
  • Support the rollout of new products, programs, and systems

G. Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Address audit findings and drive ongoing compliance and risk mitigation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 68 years of experience in restaurant operations leadership
  • Strong coaching, analytical, communication, and execution skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment
  • Willingness to work field-based with high travel requirements and extended hours during peak seasons
