We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys a hands-on leadership position and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and smooth operation of the restaurant, including:
Managing day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure efficient and profitable service
Leading, motivating, and supporting front-of-house and kitchen teams
Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high guest satisfaction standards
Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising team members
Monitoring staff performance and fostering a positive workplace culture
Managing labor costs, inventory, and operational expenses
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety regulations
Handling customer feedback, inquiries, and service recovery professionally
Coordinating with suppliers and managing stock levels to support daily operations
Assisting with business growth initiatives, promotions, and operational improvements
Maintaining restaurant presentation standards and ensuring a welcoming dining environment
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar hospitality leadership role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to manage operations in a busy restaurant environment
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Financial awareness, including experience with budgeting, labor management, and cost control
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example
Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to operational excellence
Experience working within Chinese restaurants or familiarity with Chinese cuisine and dining culture
Bilingual ability in English and Chinese is preferred, but not required
Hospitality, food safety, or management-related certifications are an advantage
This position requires flexibility to work shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on business needs. The successful candidate must be dependable and willing to support the restaurant during peak service periods.
