Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Restaurant Management System (RMS) Manager to oversee the implementation, enhancement, support, and continuous improvement of restaurant systems across commissary, store, and corporate operations. This role ensures that business applications effectively support daily operations, improve process efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing restaurant systems, business applications, POS platforms, and cross-functional technology projects within a multi-unit restaurant or QSR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management, maintenance, and enhancement of Restaurant Management Systems (RMS) and related business applications.
- Manage system implementation, upgrades, integrations, and rollout across restaurant branches and commissary operations.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, IT, and other business units to identify system requirements and process improvements.
- Ensure system availability, performance, security, and data integrity.
- Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and internal technical teams.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and deployment activities.
- Develop system documentation, SOPs, user manuals, and training materials.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for system issues and drive timely resolution.
- Manage and develop the Restaurant Systems team while overseeing multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business applications, restaurant systems, POS, ERP, or IT operations.
- At least 5 years of leadership or people management experience.
- Experience supporting restaurant chains, QSR, retail, or hospitality operations.
- Strong knowledge of POS, ERP, inventory, procurement, and restaurant operational systems.
- Experience in project management, system implementation, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
