Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Restaurant Area Manager to oversee the overall operations and performance of multiple branches within a casual dining restaurant chain. The role will manage approximately
5–6 stores, ensuring achievement of sales and profitability targets, operational excellence, consistent service standards, and a high-quality customer experience.
The ideal candidate has strong
multi-unit restaurant management experience, with a proven track record of leading Store Managers and driving performance across multiple high-volume casual dining locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and overall performance of 5–6 assigned restaurant branches.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency across all stores.
- Monitor and analyze store P&L, sales performance, food cost, labor cost, inventory, and other key operational metrics.
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards, operating procedures, service protocols, and brand guidelines.
- Oversee both Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and restaurant leadership teams.
- Conduct regular store visits, operational reviews, and performance assessments.
- Identify operational gaps and implement action plans to improve store performance.
- Ensure proper manpower planning, scheduling, deployment, and productivity.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
- Monitor inventory, waste, portion control, and cost management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with HR, Training, QA, Supply Chain, and other support functions to address operational requirements.
- Build a strong performance-driven culture focused on customer satisfaction and business results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in restaurant operations, with significant experience in a managerial or multi-unit capacity.
- Proven experience managing multiple restaurant branches under a casual dining restaurant chain.
- Strong background in high-volume casual dining operations is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of restaurant P&L, sales performance, food cost, labor cost, inventory, and manpower management.
- Experience leading and developing Store Managers and restaurant leadership teams.
- Strong knowledge of FOH and BOH operations.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational insights into measurable results.
- Willing to work on-site in Mandaluyong City and travel between assigned branches as needed.
