RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (M&E)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect M&E works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, and installation works carried out by contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders on technical and site matters.
• Ensure all M&E works are carried out in accordance with workplace safety and environmental regulations.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain proper site records, reports, and documentation.
• Identify and report non-compliance issues and follow up on rectification works.
• Assist the Qualified Person (QP) and project team in project execution and coordination.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
2. Possess valid M&E Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification accredited by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
3. Registered with the relevant authority as an M&E RTO in Singapore.
4. Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects preferred.
5. Good knowledge of local authority regulations, codes of practice, and construction safety requirements.
6. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
