Resident Engineer (Electrical Engineer)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Creates bid/buying specifications, guidelines and standards for MEPFS projects (e.g. installation guidelines, synopsis template, etc.)
• Assesses previous project implementations and equipment performances
• Conducts case studies for benchmarking and reference of Engineering Operations team
• Initiates system improvements based on historical data and other references (e.g. cost standardization, etc.)
• Assists the Project Owners during negotiation by providing pre-assessment of quotations and project details.
• Handles comprehensive evaluation of projects for approval based on the following, but not limited to, compliance to specifications and standards, OPEX and CAPEX analysis, technical analysis and contractor's performance.
• Conducts spot audit on site to ensure compliance to specifications and standards
• Initiates equipment related training programs in collaboration with contractors and suppliers
• Monitors contract terms compliance and provide inputs as to the relevance of scope of works
• Monitors status and updates of ongoing projects
• Attends pre-bid meetings and workshops of new malls to discuss MEPFS standards and bid specifications
• Captures project owners comments during plan reviews in order to create additional specifications and guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• With a degree in BS Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• With good working knowledge of national and local building codes and safety standards
• Must be willing to be assigned in MOA, Pasay or any mall branches in Metro Manila
