The successful candidate is responsible for evaluating reservoir processes that affect field development, management, and operation using reservoir and related production and injection data; and recommending projects and strategies to maintain or enhance steam supply and injection capacities.
The Role
- Tracks performance of production and injection wells to ensure that steam supply and injection capacities are sufficient; identifies exceptional well performance and recommends remedial measures
- Analyzes, designs, and implements recommendations on well, reservoir testing and monitoring programs
- Leads/participates in multi-disciplinary teams and coordinates with technical and operations groups related to steam supply and injection
- Prepares forecasts of steam supply, injection capacity, and associated economic analyses
- Updates and refines resource evaluations (conceptual and numerical models) as necessary
- Promotes safety and awareness by ensuring compliance with prescribed responsibilities among employees
The Individual
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum) or Physics
- Experience in reservoir engineering is an advantage
- Excellent scholastic record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Willing to be assigned to any of the company's work locations
