Job Description

What We're Looking For

You're a proven salesperson who knows how to turn opportunities into revenue. Your experience can come from any industry -- what matters is your ability to own a pipeline, close business, and deliver measurable results.

You bring:

  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle, from qualifying leads through follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
  • Confidence handling objections, selling on value, and asking for the sale.
  • Excellent pipeline management and consistent, proactive follow-up.
  • Comfort using numbers to assess opportunities, prioritize leads, and improve performance.
  • Commercial judgment: you understand how pricing, discounts, and deal terms affect revenue.
  • The ability to learn a large portfolio quickly and match customers with the right options.
  • Personal accountability for results.

Be prepared to discuss the targets you owned, the results you achieved, and specific examples of business you personally closed.

Hospitality or property management experience is welcome but not required. We can teach you our homes and systems. You should bring the sales discipline, closing ability, and drive to grow revenue.

What You'll OwnRevenue Optimization

You'll actively look at our portfolio and identify opportunities to improve performance.

This includes:

  • Reviewing availability, occupancy, pricing, and booking pace
  • Identifying properties with upcoming gaps or soft demand
  • Finding opportunities to fill orphan nights and difficult booking windows
  • Understanding when pricing should be adjusted to drive conversion
  • Thinking strategically about short-term, mid-term, and longer-term opportunities
  • Working closely with the revenue team on Watchlist properties and underperforming listings
  • Looking beyond the immediate inquiry and thinking about the revenue impact of each booking
  • Proactively identifying opportunities instead of waiting for someone to tell you what needs attention

We want someone who naturally asks, How do we get this home booked

Memorize the Portfolio

Minty has a large and constantly evolving portfolio of unique homes. You need to know them.

We expect you to become deeply familiar with:

  • Property locations and neighborhoods
  • Bedroom and bathroom counts
  • Sleeping configurations
  • Parking
  • Pet policies
  • Amenities
  • Property quirks and restrictions
  • Pricing ranges
  • Which homes work best for families, executives, productions, relocations, insurance stays, and extended stays
  • What makes one property a better fit than another

The goal is to get to the point where a guest tells you what they need and you immediately have several homes in mind.

You should be able to sell the portfolio because you genuinely know the portfolio.

Own Driving Sales

Reservations is our sales team.

You'll own leads from inquiry through booking and actively move conversations forward.

That means:

  • Responding quickly to new leads
  • Understanding exactly what the guest needs
  • Recommending properties strategically
  • Creating custom housing options
  • Following up consistently
  • Handling objections
  • Offering alternatives when the original property doesn't work
  • Creating urgency when appropriate
  • Re-engaging leads that have gone quiet
  • Turning inquiries into tours, consultations, and ultimately bookings
  • Looking across the entire portfolio before ever allowing a good lead to disappear

We do not want order takers.

We want someone who is comfortable selling, following up, and asking for the booking.

Think Strategically About Revenue

We're looking for someone who understands that the highest nightly rate does not always create the most revenue.

You should be able to think through questions like:

Is it better to take this 60-day booking or hold for shorter stays

Should we discount this gap to increase occupancy

Could this lead work for another property

Is there a better home to offer that improves both the guest experience and portfolio revenue

What properties need attention this week

Where are we leaving money on the table

You don't need to know every answer on day one, but you need to be curious about the numbers and excited to learn how the decisions connect.

What We're Looking For

You are:

  • Extremely organized
  • Quick on your feet
  • Naturally sales-minded
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Strategic and commercially minded
  • Curious about why properties perform the way they do
  • Persistent without being pushy
  • Excellent at follow-up
  • Comfortable making recommendations and decisions
  • Able to learn a large amount of information quickly
  • Someone who notices opportunities other people miss
  • Comfortable being accountable to measurable results

Hospitality, property management, reservations, leasing, revenue management, or sales experience is helpful, but mindset matters just as much.

We can teach our portfolio and systems.

It is much harder to teach someone to naturally think, How can I turn this into revenue
