The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling incoming inquiries, processing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service to guests or clients. This role ensures that all bookings are accurately recorded and that customer needs are met promptly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Respond to reservation inquiries by phone, email, or online platforms in a timely and courteous manner.
- Process reservations accurately using the company's booking system.
- Provide detailed information about rates, availability, promotions, and services.
- Update and maintain reservation records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Sales, Operations) to confirm guest requirements and special requests.
- Handle cancellations, modifications, and special booking arrangements according to company policy.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Promote and upsell room types, packages, or additional services when appropriate.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reservation reports as required.
Qualifications
- College graduate a degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or hospitality is an advantage.
- Proficiency in reservation systems Opera, OTA extranet and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
