Reservation Assistant - is responsible for handling booking requests and ensuring that customers (guests or clients) successfully reserve services such as hotel rooms, restaurants, or events. providing information and processing bookings accurately.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle booking requests via phone, email, or online systems.
- Provide information about availability, rates, and services.
- Enter and update reservations in the system.
- Confirm bookings and send details to customers.
- Assist with cancellations or changes to reservations.
- Maintain records of reservations and customer information.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding politely and efficiently.
Job Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in reservations, front office, or customer service is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are often welcome, especially in hotels and travel agencies.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., hotel booking software).
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email handling)
- Good understanding of customer service principles
- Knowledge of hotel services, room types, and pricing (for hospitality roles)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to speak clearly and professionally (English proficiency is often required)
