Job Overview
The
Research Faculty member is responsible for advancing the institution's research, innovation, and extension initiatives in their field of specialization. The role integrates research development, training delivery, intellectual property support, technical consultation, and active participation in departmental planning and evaluation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and extension activities aligned with the faculty member's area of specialization.
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and other instruction-related activities as required by the department.
- Perform patent searches and assist in the drafting and documentation of patent applications for research outputs.
- Participate in technical consultations provided by the department, including advisory and expert support services.
- Contribute to the evaluation of departmental programs, projects, activities, and performance outcomes.
- Take part in the planning, development, and implementation of departmental initiatives and activities.
- Supervise and ensure the proper maintenance, operation, and repair of departmental resources, facilities, and workplaces.
Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) and/or Registered Electronics Engineer (ECE) with a valid PRC license.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field (Doctorate is an advantage).
- With background or experience in research, laboratory management, extension services, or technology development.
- Knowledge of intellectual property processes, including patent search and documentation, is an advantage.
