Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new or improved products based on client requirements.
- Formulate recipes and conduct laboratory-scale trials and testing.
- Evaluate new raw materials, suppliers, and incoming shipments.
- Perform product analysis related to quality complaints and compliance verification.
- Support plant affiliates with quality control testing of finished goods.
- Develop prototypes and document experiments (reports, photos/videos).
- Create, update, and maintain technical specifications, procedures, and laboratory records.
- Conduct equipment verification and ensure proper laboratory upkeep.
- Explore and assess new functional ingredients with strong market potential.
- Deliver technical presentations and represent the company in client meetings, exhibits, and industry events.
- Provide technical support during client and supplier engagement
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, preferably with strong academic background in Food Technology and laboratory research
- Experience in food product development, laboratory testing, or quality assurance is an advantage (OJT/thesis experience relevant to hydrocolloloids or carrageenan is a plus)
