RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

KANTAR GRADUATE ACCELERATED RECRUITMENT PROGRAM (Ad hoc hiring)

Kantar Graduate Recruitment Program is a two-year program, consisting of development modules, mentorship, challenging assessments, and on-the-job learning. This is an entry role in marketing research industry, which enables you to develop strong foundations in insights-based consulting.

Research Associate is responsible for learning the brand offer and ways of working to deliver efficient and timely support to clients. The role includes supporting the team to prepare questionnaires, data, presentations & reports, manage projects & engage clients.

This role will be part of the Kantar Singapore business, working directly with a hybrid team working predominantly with regional clients. The Research Associate's line manager will be in Manila or Singapore based on the team they are selected for, with an In-country Resident Supervisor providing leadership, training, on immediate support where required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The primary responsibility is to provide day-to-day support to Directors, Managers and Executives across a range of accounts and create meaningful impact on our client's businesses. Your contributions to the team are:

  • Project management and general administration of the end-to-end research project.
  • Responsible for maintenance of normative databases, for coordinating & monitoring accurate and timely delivery of scripts, charting, fieldwork & data provision from relevant departments.
  • Account management responsible for the accurate & timely delivery of accounts outputs including data tables, workshops, presentations, and reports.
  • Planning, reviewing, improving, and streamlining processes & systems without compromising quality.
  • Analysis & research expertise understand data from various sources, implements research solutions to drive meaningful insight for clients needs and their business.
  • Client management & consultancy; apply basic level of knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions, deliverables and analysis.

Equally important, as part of the two-year-program you will be required to actively participate in trainings, mentorship, and work practices at all Kantar divisions.

  • You have strong communication skill (verbally and written) as your confident in speaking to the team, clients, and partners is essential.

Essentials

  • Holds at minimum a bachelor's degree, ideally with majors in Communication Research, Marketing, Statistics, Math, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Mass Communication, Management, Business, or any related discipline.
  • You are a fresh graduate or have less than 1 year working experience
  • Excellent English proficiency - both verbal and written
  • Computer literate, especially in projects/statistics related applications, advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint would be an added value.
